Introduction

 

TGIC (Triglycidyl Isocyanurate) is an isocyanurate based crystalline polyepoxide compound. Its molecular weight is 297(CAS No.2451-62-9). It has good heat resistance, weather resistance, adhesion and high temperature stability.

 

Application

 

1. Used as cross-linked hardener for carboxyl-terminated Polyacrylate (PA). The usage is about 7% of the resin weight (depending on acid value);

2. Applied in producing high performance electrical insulating material as the cross-linked hardener for PCB inks.

Description

 

Accelerating Wet Agent (Gloss Enhancing Wet Agent) HL701 is commonly known as moist promoter, wetting promoter or brightening agent. As the molecular structure of HL701 contains a number of polar groups, the wettabilities of both polar additives (such as pigments, fillers)and the objects to be coated (metals such as iron, aluminum) are significantly enhanced. Thereby, during the application of powder coating, it can effectively eliminate the film crater/fish-eye/pinhole, improve the levelling and flatness, and enhance the wettability to the substrate and the dispersibility of the pigment.

Application and Performance

 

1, The major function of HL701 is to enhance the anti-fouling performance for powder coating, and prevent the film crater from happening.

2, The general dosage of HL701 varies from 0.5~1.5% by weight of total formulation according to different formulations required from customers.

3. HL701 does not contain any silicone component, with no staining properties. It will not affect the recoating adhesiveness.

Description

 

1, Matt Hardener is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.

 

2, Powder coating mainly divide into three types: Polyester/Epoxy Powder Coating (indoor product), polyester/TGIC powder coating (outdoor product), Epoxy powder coating (indoor product). TGIC is listed as hazardous material; it may be replaced by HAA in the future. The benefits of powder coating that it is environmentally friendly. There are no solvents in paints, and thus no harmful air pollution. Overspray can be air vacuumed and reused, thus reducing the amount of wasted produced as well as saving cost.

 

Use low acid value polyester .Formulations can be adjusted by using different materials.

 

Application

 

1, HF-68 can be applied in epoxy powder system to generate the strong matte effect, terrific leveling performance and stable comprehensive properties. It can be used for pure epoxy and epoxy/polyester hybrid powder systems as a hardener, preparing coatings with super matte surface, excellent mechanical property and good reproducibility characteristic.

Specification

 

The curing agent HA-80 is a tetra-functional group containing N,N,N’,N’-Tetrakis (β-hydroxyethy) adipamide (HAA). It is suitable for curing with carboxyl-terminated polyester or acrylic resin to produce exterior durable powder coatings with excellent mechanical properties and good weather durability. In comparison with TGIC, it’s non-toxic, and can be used to produce non skin irritant and safe outdoor powder coating.

As a rule, at concentrations of 1.0~1.2% based on the total weight of the formulation, but for post addition, at 0.7~2.5% depending on the finishing formulations.

Introduction:
