Matt Hardener HF68 is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.
1, Due to HF68 has a higher melting point, it’s very important to evenly disperse it in formulation. The users can suitably increase the extruding temperature to make sure the good dispersion (don’t exceed 110℃).
2, In hybrid matting powder system, the polyester resin with low acid value should be selected, and it can be determined by the tests in order to obtain perfect gloss and optimal comprehensive properties.

Matt Hardener / Flowing Agent Used For PES/Primid Powder Coatings System

LA98 can be added at the premix stage of powder coating manufacture and extruded with the other components of formulation by any suitable extruder then ground, but for post addition it must to be incorporated into the final coating powder by dry blending method.
Its optimum usage level will be determined by your thorough experiments.
As a rule, at concentrations of 1.0~1.2% based on the total weight of the formulation, but for post addition, at 0.7~2.5% depending on the finishing formulations.
Store in cool dry place to avoid moisture absorption, keep away from fire.

Matt Hardener/ Accelerating Wet Agent HL701 Used For Powder Coatings
Accelerating Wet Agent (Gloss Enhancing Wet Agent) HL701 is commonly known as moist promoter, wetting promoter or brightening agent. As the molecular structure of HL701 contains a number of polar groups, the wettabilities of both polar additives (such as pigments, fillers)and the objects to be coated (metals such as iron, aluminum) are significantly enhanced. Thereby, during the application of powder coating, it can effectively eliminate the film crater/fish-eye/pinhole, improve the levelling and flatness, and enhance the wettability to the substrate and the dispersibility of the pigment.

Application and Performance
1, The major function of HL701 is to enhance the anti-fouling performance for powder coating, and prevent the film crater from happening.
2, The general dosage of HL701 varies from 0.5~1.5% by weight of total formulation according to different formulations required from customers.
3. HL701 does not contain any silicone component, with no staining properties. It will not affect the recoating adhesiveness.
