Description

HF-68 is non-reactive wax-free based matting agent designed for Epoxy –Polyester hybrid powder coating to provide 10% of gloss level, excellent flow and anti-yellowing.

Characteristics

Gloss is stable and relatively insensitive to variations in baking temperature and types of polyester resins used excellent flow /mechanical properties and anti-yellowing. The recoat ability and transfer-image properties of coatings are not influenced

Usage: Post 2-5% of total powder coating it could reach gloss level of 10%.

Storage


Keep in the cool and dry place, Store in closed containers; avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear dust mask when operating.

Package

Package with PE lined kraft paper bags. Net weight 20Kg per bag.

Specifications

 

Matt Hardener HF68 is a composed salt of cyclic-amidine and multi-acid. It utilizes the two different reaction rates of group in molecular structure, and during the curing process, it generates nonuniform shrinkage then forms the matt surface. It has both gloss decreasing and curing functions.

Feature

 

1, Due to HF68 has a higher melting point, it’s very important to evenly disperse it in formulation. The users can suitably increase the extruding temperature to make sure the good dispersion (don’t exceed 110℃).

2, In hybrid matting powder system, the polyester resin with low acid value should be selected, and it can be determined by the tests in order to obtain perfect gloss and optimal comprehensive properties.

3, Dosage: E-12: HF68 mass ratio: (8-10):1.

Description

 

The powder flow modifier LA98 equivalent to Worlee resin flow PV88 can be applicable to any powder coating systems such as EP, PES/EP hybrid, PES/TGIC, PES/Primid and PU etc.

Advantages

Incorporation

 

LA98 can be added at the premix stage of powder coating manufacture and extruded with the other components of formulation by any suitable extruder then ground, but for post addition it must to be incorporated into the final coating powder by dry blending method.

 

Usage level

 

Its optimum usage level will be determined by your thorough experiments.

As a rule, at concentrations of 1.0~1.2% based on the total weight of the formulation, but for post addition, at 0.7~2.5% depending on the finishing formulations.

 

Storage

 

Store in cool dry place to avoid moisture absorption, keep away from fire.

Description

 

Accelerating Wet Agent (Gloss Enhancing Wet Agent) HL701 is commonly known as moist promoter, wetting promoter or brightening agent. As the molecular structure of HL701 contains a number of polar groups, the wettabilities of both polar additives (such as pigments, fillers)and the objects to be coated (metals such as iron, aluminum) are significantly enhanced. Thereby, during the application of powder coating, it can effectively eliminate the film crater/fish-eye/pinhole, improve the levelling and flatness, and enhance the wettability to the substrate and the dispersibility of the pigment.

Application and Performance

 

1, The major function of HL701 is to enhance the anti-fouling performance for powder coating, and prevent the film crater from happening.

2, The general dosage of HL701 varies from 0.5~1.5% by weight of total formulation according to different formulations required from customers.

3. HL701 does not contain any silicone component, with no staining properties. It will not affect the recoating adhesiveness.

 

Package, Storage and Other Precautions

 

1, Store in a cool and dry place to avoid contacting other chemical products. Seal tightly after using. As this product is irritant to respiratory tract, please wear dustproof mask and glove when operating.

2, Package: 25kgs/polyethylene-lined Kraft paper-plastic compound bag.

3, Validity will be 1 year under normal temperature. The Product can still be usable out of this period if inspection passed.
